How we work
Our training is engaging, inspirational and transformational. People learn best in an informal, relaxed environment through a process of discovery and the ability to practice new skills. No long-winded lectures or boring "chalk and talk," we use accelerated learning, neuro-linguistic programming methods and experiential learning to make learning participatory, memorable and impactful.
Our training meets the objectives of the your organisation and the individual and is tailored through assessment of participants prior learning. Clear learning objectives are stated and negotiated with training commissioners so you can evaluate the results of training and your return on investment.
Equality and Diversity
All of our training is designed to reflect the diversity of organisations and the communities they serve, with equality and diversity matters integrated throughout every programme.
Training can be delivered to single or multi-agency groups, either in-house or through "open" courses at our venues. Our Services page lists courses which we have delivered, but please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss modified or bespoke programmes to suit your needs. We want to work closely with you to make sure that learning outcomes explicitly meet your organisational goals and business objectives and incorporate your policies and practices.
We use the Kirkpatrick (1994) evaluation model and can help you integrate this into your organisational learning to ensure that you have a return on your training investment. Evaluations of our training consistently reflect that our training has made a difference, enabling delegates to learn and embed excellent practice in their work.
Consultancy and Facilitation
Learning and Development
We can support organisational learning through development methods in addition to training, helping you to establish action learning sets and develop your work through coaching and mentoring.
We are experienced in facilitating workshops and can provide speakers for events such as team development days, conferences, stakeholder consultation meetings and focus groups.
We act as independent chairs for safeguarding events such as child protection conferences, family group conferences and adult safeguarding boards. We can also assist with independent reviews of childrens services and offer independence in the investigation of complaints.
Policies and Procedures
We have extensive experience in supporting organisations to design and draft policies and procedures relating to safeguarding matters.
